US Senate Approves Blockchain for National Defense
The United States Senate Armed Services Committee recently approved blockchain testing for national security purposes. This decision is unexpected but necessary and marks the beginning of blockchain integration within the DOD (Department of Defense).

In its latest National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) report, the committee stated:
“The committee recognizes the potential uses of blockchain technology for national security purposes.”

“The Committee notes that blockchain technology has the potential to improve the cryptographic integrity of the defense supply chain, enhance data integrity, and reduce the risk of manipulation or corruption of certain types of data by near-peer competitors.”
