Panasonic, IBM and Constellation Network Launch “Blockchain of Blockchains” at Global Hackathon
Technology giants Panasonic and IBM have partnered with Constellation Network to launch a “Blockchain of Blockchains”. This Hypergraph distributed ledger technology has been under development for years.
After the launch, web3 and web2 developers will be able to work on the blockchain, launching it during Constellation’s Global Metagraph Hackathon, an all-virtual event taking place from July 15 to September 9, 2024.
The event is free to attend and features a total prize pool of $100,000 in $DAG (Constellation Network’s cryptocurrency) that will be distributed to winners in several categories, including metagraph development and on-chain tools.
The most successful Metagraph will win the largest single prize of $25,000 at the event. Constellation will officially showcase its “meta graph” application layer technology, which runs on top of its Hypergraph global consensus layer, to the global audience at the event.
“Constellation Hypergraph is the blockchain of blockchains,” says Ben Jorgensen, CEO of Constellation Network. “The best way forward for all of us with Web3 and blockchain technology is interoperability and collaboration across chains and communities. There are a lot of us building these networks separately that can support things like decentralized AI, tokenized assets, IoT edge computing, decentralized finance, and a lot of other Web3 creations that seem to be popping up everywhere.” “But Hypergraph? This technology can tie them all together, make everything interoperable, give them an underlying infrastructure that can secure their networks and validate their data flows.”
According to Constellation Network, a metagraph can be any type of Layer 1 decentralized application (dApp) network or legacy Web2 network with its own internal business logic. Hypergraph can also support other blockchains as metagraphs on top of it.
In addition to Panasonic and IBM, other parties involved in the partnership with Constellation Network include SIMBA Chain, the startup service of the C14 cryptocurrency, Stardust Collective, and National DigiFoundry, which is led by members of the US National Science Foundation, the US Space Force, and the US Department of the Treasury.
These entities support the development of new innovative metagraph technologies that revolutionize interoperability. The fast and free Hypergraph network is uniquely designed using DAG-based infrastructure and microservices to create an underlying digital transfer layer with a flexible structure and application network overlay, also known as Metagraph to facilitate interoperability and composability on legacy Web3 and Web2 networks.
This provides the high network security, data validation, scalability, and simplified onboarding that businesses and governments need for adoption. Metagraphs can work with any data type, interface directly with external data sources, accept existing Scala or Java libraries, provide complete control over validation and consensus logic within the network, and scale to the level that applications need via a multi-layered microservices architecture.
Users can visit Constellation Metagraph Hackathon Website to register and find all the event details and supporting materials.
Users can Download Stargazer Wallet to hold $DAG.
