Come to this virtual conference on blockchain technology, hosted by New York Tech’s ETIC business incubator.
Since the introduction and subsequent rise of cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin over the past decade, there has also been an increase in interest in the applications of blockchain technology for various industrial sectors. This seminar will introduce participants to the background and history of blockchain technology, the discussion of public and private blockchain solutions, the creation of smart contracts, and the various considerations an organization must make when implementing blockchain. Participants will be exposed to the key components and processes of a blockchain system and the various commercial vendors that support blockchain activities.
The iNTEREST conference series is hosted by the Entrepreneurship & Technology Innovation Center (ETIC) in the College of Engineering and Computing Sciences. It is designed to introduce participants to a variety of highly sought-after technologies associated with dedicated career paths. All sessions will be recorded and uploaded to the ETIC YouTube channel.
