International stocks trading in New York closed lower on Friday, with the S&P/BNY Mellon index of American depositary receipts falling 0.5% to 182.70.
The European index fell 0.4% to 178.12. The Asian index fell 0.8% to 216.06. The Latin American index rose 0.2% to 189.56, while the emerging markets index fell 0.6% to 355.09.
UK-based Argo Blockchain PLC saw the biggest decline, falling 16% to $1.07, followed by shares of Switzerland’s Molecular Partners AG, which fell 13% to $9.60. Shares of Dutch company Pharming Group NV fell 11% to $7.27.
Japan’s Lead Real Estate Co. Ltd. was the leading company during the session, jumping 22% to $8.70, while U.K.-based Akari Therapeutics PLC jumped 20% to $3. $71. Novonix Ltd., which is based in Australia, rounded out the top three leaders on Friday, with shares jumping 17% to $1.99.
