Bitwise Launches New Announcement on Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Adoption
Bitwise, a well-known asset management company, released a new commercial on June 27 that highlights the growing use of blockchain technology and the changing perception of cryptocurrencies among representatives of the financial sector.
In the ad, Bitwise portrays two characters: a millennial, a person more familiar with cryptocurrencies, and a traditional investor. The latter changes into a pro-blockchain T-shirt, representing the changing attitude of the financial industry towards cryptocurrencies.
This shift is coming as Bitcoin has skyrocketed to record highs in recent years. This mainstream adoption has been driven by the recent surge in Bitcoin price surpasses $73,000 earlier this year, before a slight decline.
Bitwise also highlights how people of different age groups invest in Bitcoin due to the investment opportunities, even if they have little knowledge of blockchain technology.
Furthermore, the performance and expectations of Bitcoin ETFs have also attracted institutional investors to the cryptocurrency market. Other crypto ETF providers such as Bitwise have made it easier for traditional firms to get involved in the crypto space, thus increasing institutional activity and changing their perception towards cryptocurrencies.
