Bitwise Launches New Ad and Suggests Wider Adoption of Blockchain
Asset management company, Bitwise, has released a new advertisement portraying the growing adoption of blockchain technology. Over the past two years, blockchain and cryptocurrencies have seen wider mainstream adoption, reaching uncharted markets. This has led assets like Bitcoin to reach all-time highs.
The bit-by-bit announcement shows the shift to Blockchain adoption
In a June 27 commercial, the investment firm featured two people, a young crypto-friendly user and an older traditional finance guy. The traditional finance investor swapped his shirt for a pro-blockchain one, signifying the recent shift of centralized businesses to cryptocurrency. Ironically, some of these businesses were once anti-cryptocurrency.

“Big finance, you have changed… No, I’m always like this. I want to meet you? Wen Moon mehn. Do you even know what that means? No I do not.”
Additionally, Bitwise shows the different age demographics entering the Bitcoin market as adoption skyrockets. Rising prices and investment opportunities have triggered this surge with some who are not very familiar with how the technology works. This year, Bitcoin price it surpassed $73,000, reaching new levels before the market correction due to bearish forecasts.
The ad used the phrase wen moon, which is popular in crypto circles when users ask about the next bull run. Crypto investors and meme coin enthusiasts are often waiting for the next price spike. This phrase gained popularity in 2017, when BTC prices skyrocketed.
Bitcoin ETFs Remain in Focus
Without a doubt, the anticipation and success of Bitcoin ETFs led to a surge in institutional activity in the market. Bitwise and other crypto ETF providers created a new window for traditional firms to increase their exposure to the market. As inflows increased, many traditional firms changed their stance towards the market.
Last month, several firms disclosed their exposure to ETFs, signaling an increase in activity. Similarly, cryptocurrencies are now an election issue US legislators also changing their attitude on the subject.
